Chicago is a grand night out, though one not really meant for young children.
Colonial Players has put together a top-notch production with tight performances from an exceptionally talented cast of eight.
The 1960 musical hit originally titled Let’s Go Steady!, written by Michael Stewart, Charles Strouse and Lee Adams, is a treat for the entire family.
The Milburn Stone Theatre’s production of The Sound of Music is a must-see for the whole family.
Walking in to this theatre, it was instantly awe-inspiring.
There are a lot of things that need work in this production, but, in context of the Baltimore Playwrights Festival, it is the closest so far to what you would expect from a production in the actual theatre season.
This is a show to see. This is, or at least should be, a show that is going places.
Nitpicking aside, it was a great piece with a mostly great cast that is really worth seeing.
The Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre production of Hairspray will especially appeal to those that have never seen the show and have few preconceived notions about the characters. For those with preconceived notions, leave them at the door.
